アメリカのTraditional Folk Songに、娼婦に身を落とした女性が半生を懺悔する歌とされる「The House of the Rising Sun（朝日のあ（当）たる家）」という素晴らしい曲があります。
日本ではアニマルズやディランのものが有名ですが、多くのアーティストがカバーしています。
今日は、少し時間に余裕があったので、この曲をあらためて手持ちアーティスト群による演奏で楽しみました（浅川及びちあきは「朝日楼」）。
ただし、イギリスのJohnny Handleという歌手の音源がないのが残念です。
